Soldering Flux Topnik RF800 for SMD 100 ml ART.056 (No name, MPN 23053)
Topnik RF800 is a liquid soldering flux formulated for surface-mount device (SMD) assembly and rework, supplied in a 100 ml bottle. The flux promotes reliable solder wetting on pads and component leads, reduces surface oxidation during heating, and supports formation of consistent solder joints in both hand-soldering and machine reflow processes. It is intended for use on printed circuit boards (PCBs) during electronics repair, prototyping and small-series assembly where controlled flux application is required.
The flux improves solderability by lowering surface tension and enhancing molten solder flow, which helps achieve more uniform joints. It reduces the formation of oxides on copper pads and component terminations during soldering, minimizing defects caused by poor wetting. The liquid formulation enables precise application to SMD pads and fine-pitch components and is compatible with common soldering workflows used in repair and prototyping.
Apply a small amount of flux to the target pads or component leads before heating. For hand-soldering, place solder wire on the heated joint and feed solder until it wets the pad and component lead. For rework, apply flux to the affected area and use hot-air or reflow profiles appropriate for the solder alloy and components in use. After soldering, clean residual flux according to the flux type and circuit sensitivity if required, using recommended solvents or flux removers to avoid long-term contamination.
Store the flux in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Use in a well-ventilated area and avoid inhalation of vapors. Follow standard ESD and safety practices when working with PCBs and electronic components.
