Mailbox VOREL 78542, steel, 285×200×60 mm
VOREL 78542 is a compact steel mailbox with external dimensions of 285 × 200 × 60 mm designed to receive letters, invoices and small deliveries. Constructed from 0.6 mm steel sheet with brown galvanised finish, the mailbox provides basic protection for postal items and is supplied as a single unit with a front door that locks and two keys. The box includes a top threading hole with a protective lid, a plastic panel on the front for an identification plaque and pre-drilled mounting holes on the back for wall attachment. With a net weight of approximately 0.88 kg, this model is suited for locations where space is limited.
The steel construction and galvanised coating give corrosion resistance appropriate for standard external or sheltered indoor installation. Its compact dimensions and low net weight make the mailbox easy to handle and install while the lockable front door with two supplied keys ensures controlled access to correspondence. The protective lid over the top feed prevents direct rain ingress and the plastic identification panel allows clear labelling without additional modification.
Mount the mailbox on a suitable vertical surface using the pre-drilled holes on the back and appropriate fasteners for the substrate. Place the identification plaque into the plastic panel on the front to display an address or name. Feed mail through the top threading hole and close the protective lid to reduce exposure to weather. To retrieve contents, unlock the front door with one of the supplied keys and collect correspondence. Regularly check and remove accumulated items to prevent overfilling.
Install the mailbox under a small shelter or canopy if exposed to heavy rain for prolonged periods. Use corrosion-resistant screws and anchors appropriate to the mounting surface. Periodically lubricate the lock and check the protective lid for secure closure to maintain reliable operation.
