Filament No name PPS-CF 1.75mm 0.75kg Black - high-temperature carbon-fiber reinforced filament
Filament No name PPS-CF 1.75mm 0.75kg Black is a carbon-fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide filament designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. With a nominal diameter of 1.75 mm and a 0.75 kg spool, this black PPS-CF blend provides enhanced stiffness, dimensional stability and elevated temperature resistance compared with standard engineering plastics. It is formulated for printing functional parts, mechanical components and engineering prototypes where heat tolerance and rigidity are important.
The carbon-fiber reinforcement increases tensile stiffness and reduces thermal deformation during service. Enhanced dimensional stability helps maintain tight tolerances for fitted parts and assemblies. The material offers improved heat resistance compared with common thermoplastics, enabling parts to withstand higher operating temperatures. The 1.75 mm diameter is compatible with a wide range of consumer and professional FDM/FFF printers, and the 0.75 kg spool provides a practical balance between material quantity and storage footprint.
Load the filament on a printer configured for high-temperature engineering materials. Use an all-metal hotend and a heated build plate; recommended extrusion temperatures and bed temperatures depend on your specific machine and slicer settings. Print with moderate to low cooling to reduce delamination risk and employ slower print speeds to accommodate the abrasive effect of carbon fibers. Store the spool in a dry environment and dry prior to printing if it has absorbed moisture.
For best results, use hardened steel or carbide nozzle to reduce wear, set appropriate retraction and printing speeds to avoid nozzle clogging, and consider an enclosure to stabilise ambient temperature. Post-process parts using mechanical finishing; avoid aggressive chemical solvents. Dry filament at recommended conditions before printing to ensure consistent extrusion.
