DisplayPort cable No name shiverpeaks BASIC-S 3m — DisplayPort to DisplayPort, 3 m, black
DisplayPort cable No name shiverpeaks BASIC-S 3m is a 3-metre DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cable in black, engineered to transmit digital video and audio between DisplayPort-equipped devices such as desktop PCs, monitors and docking stations. The cable supports single-link DisplayPort performance suitable for common high-resolution monitors and is intended for stable desktop and multi-monitor connections where a 3 m length is required.
This DisplayPort cable delivers a reliable digital connection with support for HDCP content protection and a transmission bandwidth adequate for resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 at single-link DisplayPort speeds (approximately 10.8 Gbit/s). The fixed 3 m length provides improved reach for typical desk layouts while maintaining signal integrity. Connectors are standard DisplayPort male on both ends for plug-and-play compatibility with most DisplayPort devices.
Connect one DisplayPort male connector to the DisplayPort output on your source device (for example a PC or docking station) and the other connector to the DisplayPort input on your monitor. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the monitor input to DisplayPort if it does not switch automatically. No additional drivers are required for standard DisplayPort video and audio transmission; the cable provides a direct digital link between devices.
For optimal results, avoid tight cable bends and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use this cable for resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 at single-link DisplayPort bandwidth; for higher resolutions or refresh rates consider verifying device capabilities or using cables and devices that explicitly support higher DisplayPort versions.
