Mouse Sander OKKO KPSA0238 220W - compact palm orbital sander, 220 W power
OKKO KPSA0238 Mouse Sander is a compact palm orbital sander with a 220 W motor designed for detail sanding and finishing on wood, painted surfaces and composites. Its small, rounded body and orbital sanding action enable controlled material removal and smooth surface preparation in tight spaces, on edges and on curved profiles. The tool is intended for light-duty workshop and DIY tasks such as furniture restoration, trimming, smoothing and preparing surfaces prior to painting or varnishing.
The OKKO KPSA0238 combines a 220 W motor with a compact, ergonomic housing that fits comfortably in the palm for improved control during precision sanding. Its orbital motion reduces visible sanding marks compared with straight-line sanders, while the rounded "mouse" shape makes it easier to access corners and curved details. The tool’s lightweight design helps reduce operator fatigue during extended small jobs, and it accepts standard hook-and-loop sanding pads for quick abrasive changes.
This compact palm orbital sander is not designed for heavy stock removal or large-area sanding where belt or larger orbital sanders are more efficient. For extensive construction or industrial sanding tasks, a higher-power machine with a larger sanding pad and dust extraction designed for continuous heavy use would be more appropriate. The small pad size also means longer working time on large surfaces.
Attach a compatible hook-and-loop sanding pad and secure it to the sander’s sanding plate. Start with an appropriate grit for the task — coarser grits for initial material removal, finer grits for finishing. Hold the sander comfortably in the palm and apply light, even pressure while moving the tool with the grain on wood or following the contour of the workpiece. Keep the sander moving to avoid creating dips or uneven spots. For painted surfaces, work gradually and inspect the surface frequently until the desired finish is achieved. Follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions, use eye and respiratory protection as needed, and disconnect the tool from power before changing pads or performing maintenance.
Use progressive grit steps when moving from rough shaping to final finishing, maintain steady motion and light pressure, and match abrasive type and grit to the material for best surface results.
