Drawing Display tablet XPPen Artist Pro 22 (Gen 2) — 22" 2560×1440, 5080 lpi, wired, black
The XPPen Artist Pro 22 (Gen 2) is a 22-inch wired drawing display designed for digital art and design. It features a 2.5K QHD (2560×1440) IPS screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a large working area, full-laminated AG nano-etched glass for a paper-like drawing feel, and a stylus with 16K pressure sensitivity. The display is Calman Verified and offers wide color coverage for consistent, accurate color reproduction across workflows.
The Artist Pro 22 (Gen 2) delivers higher pixel density and improved image clarity compared with FHD displays, supporting precise detail work on a 21.5-inch active screen. Its full-laminated AG nano-etched surface reduces parallax and glare, creating a tactile, paper-like drawing experience. DC dimming and measured peak brightness with a 1000:1 contrast ratio help reduce eye strain during extended sessions. Calman verification and Delta E ~1 in Adobe RGB provide industry-level color accuracy and reliable color matching across devices.
This wired display requires a compatible host computer and appropriate ports or adapters; it is not a standalone tablet. Users who need the absolute highest peak brightness or HDR-specific workflows may find its 250 cd/m² peak brightness limiting. The device is optimized for creative workflows but may be over‑specified for basic note-taking or casual browsing.
Connect the Artist Pro 22 (Gen 2) to a compatible Windows or macOS computer using the supplied cable(s) and power it with the 12 V/3 A adapter. Install the XPPen driver on your computer to enable pen pressure, programmable buttons, and color profile switching. Calibrate the display following the manufacturer’s instructions and, if desired, use the included Calman report for reference. Use the X3 Pro stylus directly on the nano-etched surface to draw; the full-lamination minimizes cursor offset so strokes align closely with the pen tip.
For color-critical work, use the Calman-verified profile and work in Adobe RGB or Display P3 as required. Keep the screen and stylus surface clean and use the driver’s pressure curve and button mapping to match your preferred brush and shortcut setup. When drawing for long periods, enable DC dimming and adjust ambient lighting to reduce eye fatigue.
