Manual screwdriver Noctua NM-SD2 150 mm
The Noctua NM-SD2 is a manual Phillips PH2-head screwdriver with a 150 mm shaft, designed primarily for use with Noctua’s cross-recess SecuFirm™ and SecuFirm2™ mounting systems. Its long shaft and magnetic tip make it suitable for reaching and handling mounting screws in large tower coolers and compact systems where space is limited. The tool features a large, rubberised grip for comfortable operation and controlled pressure when fastening spring-loaded mounting hardware.
The Phillips PH2 head matches cross-recess screws commonly used in SecuFirm™ and SecuFirm2™ mounts, ensuring compatibility with many Noctua heatsink models. A 150 mm (15 cm) shaft provides extra reach to access recessed or hard-to-reach screws on large CPU coolers. The magnetic tip holds screws in place during installation or removal, reducing the risk of drops in cramped builds. The ergonomically large, rubberised handle allows steady torque and comfortable repeated use.
Select the NM-SD2 when working with cross-recess (Phillips) screws on Noctua SecuFirm™ or SecuFirm2™ mounting systems. Position the magnetic PH2 tip onto the screw head, use the extended 150 mm shaft to reach recessed screws, and turn the handle to tighten or loosen. Apply steady, even pressure with the rubberised grip to avoid cam-out and to control torque, especially on spring-loaded mounting screws.
Use the NM-SD2 specifically with Phillips PH2 cross-recess screws and avoid excessive force that could strip screw heads. Keep the magnetic tip free of metal debris and store the screwdriver in a dry place to maintain performance.
