The unit accepts mounted 35 mm slides and film strips and includes format inserts for 35 mm slides in 5 x 5 cm mounts as well as 24 x 36 mm masks with guide ridges for 35 mm film strips.

Advantages

The MS-FILMCOP provides exact alignment through adjustable stop pins and four continuously adjustable masking strips. Inserts and masks are easy to change, and mounted slides can be placed directly from above. For film strips, a pressure frame opens to allow insertion. Rubber feet on the underside protect light panels from scratches during direct use.

How to use

Insert the MS-FILMCOP into the guide rails of the MS-MACRO-REPRO copy stand and position it vertically or horizontally as needed. For mounted 35 mm slides, place the slide directly from above into the appropriate insert. For film strips, open the pressure frame, place the strip and close the frame. Adjust the stop pins and masking strips to align the film or slide precisely before copying or digitising.

Usage recommendations

Use the included 5 x 5 cm and 24 x 36 mm masks for standard slide and negative work; if you work with medium-format film, consider the optional MASKE645 or MASKE66 inserts. Ensure the rubber feet are in place when using a light panel to prevent surface damage.
