How to use

Install the AP in a central ceiling or high position using the included mounting hardware and connect it to power using an 802.3at PoE+ switch or a compatible DC power source. Connect the Ethernet uplink to your network switch or router via the 2.5 Gbps capable port. Use the Omada Controller software or Omada Cloud service to adopt the device, configure SSIDs, security settings, guest portals and network policies, and apply site-wide firmware and configuration updates. Place additional Omada APs where coverage or capacity needs to be extended and enable Mesh if wiring is impractical.

Usage recommendations

For best performance in high-density deployments, enable Wi‑Fi 6 features such as OFDMA and MU‑MIMO, configure 160 MHz channels where supported by client devices, and use band steering and load balancing to distribute clients across bands.
