How to use

Install the AX5400 in a suitable ceiling location with access to a power source or PoE+ switch. Connect the Ethernet uplink (up to 2.5 Gbps) to your network and follow Omada SDN setup to register the AP to the controller or cloud account. Configure SSIDs, security settings and guest portal pages via the Omada interface. Use mesh pairing to extend coverage to hard-to-wire areas and enable fast roaming and optimization features for seamless client handover.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, place the access point centrally in the coverage area, ensure firmware is up to date, use a PoE+ capable switch or quality DC power supply, enable 160 MHz channels only where the RF environment allows, and configure separate SSIDs or guest portals to isolate visitor traffic from internal networks.
