Audio Mixer Omnitronic 10040283
The Omnitronic 10040283 mixer from the LMC series delivers warm, natural sound and a wide set of professional features suitable for studio use, live performance and fixed PA installations. It offers low-noise microphone preamps, classic British-style EQ curves on each channel, a one-knob studio compressor per mono channel and a 24-bit FX processor with 16 editable effects. A built-in USB audio interface (up to 48 kHz) enables direct recording to Windows or Mac systems. Technical parameters include a frequency response of 20–20,000 Hz, signal-to-noise ratio of 110 dB (line), crosstalk of 89 dB at 1 kHz and total harmonic distortion of 0.05%. Power consumption is 50 W and it accepts AC 100–240 V, 50–60 Hz.
Extremely low-noise microphone preamps provide up to 130 dB dynamic range for clean captures, while British-style EQ circuitry delivers natural tonal shaping. The integrated one-knob compressor simplifies dynamic control on each mono channel. A 24-bit FX engine with 16 editable effects and a USB audio interface make the unit versatile for both live and recording applications. Additional features such as feedback detection, voice canceller and 3D stereo surround (found on the 2022FX model) increase flexibility in demanding setups.
Connect microphones and line sources to the appropriate inputs, set gain using the preamp controls and shape tone with the channel EQ. Engage the one-knob compressor on mono channels if needed to control peaks, and assign effects from the 24-bit FX processor to channels, busses or the main mix. Use the USB audio interface to send and receive audio from a computer at up to 48 kHz sample rate for recording or playback. Monitor levels on the LED display and adjust master output to avoid clipping.
For best noise performance, set input gains so signals peak well below clipping, use balanced cables where possible and enable the feedback detection when working with loud stage monitors. When recording via USB, choose a 48 kHz sample rate in your DAW to match the interface capability.
