The Ooni Koda 2 Pro is an outdoor gas pizza maker designed to cook one 46 cm (18") pizza with professional-level heat control and fast, even cooking. It uses Ooni's patent-pending G2 Gas Technology with a tapered-flame burner to improve heat distribution, and pairs with the Bluetooth-enabled Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub for real-time ambient and probe readings. The oven reaches up to 500 °C and offers a wide usable range from 160 °C to 500 °C, a 30% larger stone area than the previous model, and a compact footprint suitable for outdoor spaces.
G2 Gas Technology reduces hot and cold spots and stabilizes stone temperature for more consistent results and faster reheating. The expanded temperature range and larger 18"+ stone increase versatility, allowing everything from quick Neapolitan-style pizzas at very high heat to lower-temperature roasting. The Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub provides live temperature data to your smartphone, helping you monitor ambient heat and food probe readings for precise cooking. The unit is designed for easy setup, efficient fuel performance (33,000 BTU/h), and straightforward maintenance including pyrolytic cleaning.
Place the Ooni Koda 2 Pro on a stable, level outdoor surface and connect the gas supply according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Ignite and preheat the oven until the stone reaches the desired temperature for your dish (use the Ooni Connect™ hub and probe for accurate readings). Slide a prepared pizza or other food onto the stone using a peel or place pans directly when appropriate. Monitor cooking with the hub and rotate the pizza as needed to ensure even browning. After cooking, allow the oven to cool and perform routine cleaning; use the pyrolytic cleaning mode where applicable and follow the manual for safe maintenance.
For best results with the Ooni Koda 2 Pro, preheat the stone to the target temperature using the Ooni Connect™ hub; use a food probe for thick cuts and rotate pizzas regularly for even cooking. Operate outdoors with adequate ventilation and follow the safety and connection instructions in the user manual.
