Motion sensor ORNO OR-CR-262/B — 220° detection, 1200W load, IP44, three mounting options, black
ORNO OR-CR-262/B is a black motion sensor designed for controlling lighting in indoor and sheltered outdoor spaces. The device features a wide 220° detection angle and supports switching of loads up to 1200 W. With IP44 protection and three mounting options, this motion sensor provides a flexible solution for automating lights in corridors, garages, porches and similar areas where presence detection and basic weather protection are required.
The sensor delivers a broad detection field thanks to its 220° angle, reducing blind spots and enabling reliable activation across wider areas. Rated for loads up to 1200 W, it is suitable for a wide range of lighting fixtures. IP44 ingress protection allows use in sheltered outdoor locations as well as indoor environments. Three mounting options give installers flexibility to adapt the sensor to walls, ceilings or other suitable surfaces. The black finish provides a discreet visual appearance that integrates with many interior and exterior decors.
Install the motion sensor in a location that provides an unobstructed view of the area to be monitored, observing the manufacturer’s recommended mounting heights and clearances for reliable detection. Connect the sensor to the lighting circuit according to electrical safety regulations and applicable wiring standards. After power-up, test the detection zone and adjust the sensor position or mounting orientation as needed to cover the target area. Ensure the device is placed where it is sheltered from direct rain if used outdoors, consistent with its IP44 rating.
For optimal performance, avoid mounting the sensor opposite large heat sources or in direct sunlight, and position it to minimize detection of motion outside the intended area. Use the three mounting options to select the most suitable orientation for coverage and to reduce false triggers. Regularly inspect the mounting and electrical connections and clean the sensor window to maintain reliable operation.
