Fluorescent compact bulb Osram Dulux S/E 7 W, 2G7 base, T12, 400 lm, Warm white (CRI 80)
Osram Dulux S/E 7 W is a compact fluorescent linear bulb with a T12 tube profile and a 2G7 four-pin base. The lamp provides approximately 400 lumens of warm white light (around 3000 K) with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 80 and an estimated lifetime of 20,000 hours. Designed for applications that require low power consumption and a linear CFL format, this bulb fits fixtures and luminaires prepared for 2G7 compact fluorescent tubes.
The bulb combines low energy use at 7 W with a stable warm-white output suitable for general interior lighting. With a CRI of 80 it renders colours naturally for most everyday tasks. The 2G7 base provides secure mechanical and electrical connection in compatible fixtures, while the T12 form factor allows use where a linear compact fluorescent tube is required. The long rated life reduces replacement frequency compared with standard incandescent lamps.
Install the bulb into a compatible luminaire with a 2G7 socket, ensuring power is switched off before handling. Align the four pins with the socket and press gently until the lamp is seated. If used with dimming controls, confirm the dimmer or electronic control gear supports compact fluorescent lamps and the specific electrical requirements. Replace the lamp at the end of its rated lifetime or earlier if light output becomes insufficient.
Use the lamp in fixtures designed for 2G7 T12 compact fluorescent tubes; avoid use in fully enclosed luminaires unless the fixture manufacturer permits it. For stable dimming and optimal lifetime, pair with compatible control gear and avoid frequent on/off cycles. Dispose of the lamp according to local regulations for fluorescent lamps containing small amounts of mercury.
