Impact Socket 3/4" 17 mm (6-point) PARTNER PA-46517
Impact Socket 3/4" 17 mm (6-point) PARTNER PA-46517
PARTNER impact socket 3/4" 17 mm (6-point) PA-46517 is a single-piece impact socket engineered for 3/4-inch drive impact wrenches and compatible pneumatic or electric impact tools. The six-point internal profile engages hex fasteners across full flats to minimise rounding and provide reliable torque transfer. This socket is intended for frequent use in automotive repair, heavy equipment maintenance and industrial service environments where repeated high-torque cycles are required.
The one-piece construction and hardened alloy steel construction deliver durability under impact loading and resistance to cracking under repeated use. The six-point geometry improves contact with hex fasteners, reducing slippage and wear on fastener corners. Designed for use with 3/4-inch drive impact tools, the socket accepts high torque inputs and transfers them efficiently to the fastener. The corrosion-resistant finish helps extend service life in workshop conditions.
Select the 17 mm 6-point socket and securely mount it onto the 3/4-inch drive of an appropriate impact wrench. Ensure the socket fully seats on the drive detent or pin and that the fastener is clean and correctly engaged by the six-point profile. Operate the impact tool in short bursts when applying high torque to avoid over-torquing; when removing fasteners, reverse the tool as required. After use, inspect the socket for signs of wear or cracking and store in a dry tool chest or rack.
Use this impact socket only with impact-rated 3/4-inch drive tools. Avoid using the socket with hand ratchets or extensions not designed for impact loads. Replace the socket if noticeable distortion, cracks or excessive rounding of the internal faces appear to maintain safe and effective fastening operations.
