Laminating film A4 PBS Connect 2x100 µm glossy, 100 sheets, transparent
PBS Connect Laminating film A4 2x100 µm glossy, 100 sheets, transparent is a pouch-style thermal laminating film designed for A4 documents, photos and ID cards. Each pouch consists of two 100 µm layers, giving a combined thickness of approximately 200 µm and a clear glossy finish that preserves colour and detail while providing a protective barrier against moisture, dirt and daily wear. The pack contains 100 pre-sized A4 pouches suitable for standard thermal pouch laminators used in offices, schools and home workspaces.
The laminating film delivers consistent, clear lamination with a glossy surface that enhances printed colours and images. Its 2x100 µm construction provides mechanical protection and increased rigidity without excessive bulk, helping documents lie flat and remain readable. The pouches are pre-cut to A4 size for quick feeding into thermal pouch laminators, reducing handling time and ensuring uniform results across multiple items.
This thermal pouch film is not compatible with roll laminators or cold laminating systems; it requires a pouch-type thermal laminator that reaches the appropriate temperature for fusion. Very thick or rigid items that would exceed the pouch seam allowance are not suitable for these pouches. Additionally, the glossy finish may produce reflections where a matte appearance is preferred for reduced glare.
Place the document centrally inside a pouch, aligning edges to avoid overhang. Pre-heat a compatible thermal pouch laminator according to the laminator manufacturer's instructions, then feed the sealed edge first into the laminator to ensure even lamination. Allow the laminated item to cool flat on a clean surface before trimming any excess film, taking care not to cut through the sealed edge. For best adhesion, work with dry, clean documents and avoid feeding items with staples or protruding elements.
For consistent results use a well-maintained thermal pouch laminator warmed to the manufacturer's recommended setting for 200 µm pouches, feed the sealed edge first, and allow items to cool flat. Store unused pouches in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to preserve clarity and adhesion.
