Lens Kit Peak Design LK-N-2 compatible with Nikon lenses, quick-release adapter set

Lens Kit (LK-N-2) is an adapter set by Peak Design that provides a quick-release solution for Nikon-compatible lenses when used with a Peak Design Capture Clip or Strap. It allows you to carry up to two spare lenses externally on a backpack strap, belt or bag and keeps an unused lens rigidly mounted and easily accessible. Clips and straps are sold separately; Lens Kit works with all versions of Capture.

Advantages

It accommodates lenses of various sizes and weights thanks to machined aluminum bayonet mounts and a glass-reinforced nylon body. The adapter swivels freely for fast access but locks in four directions to prevent unwanted movement. How to use

Attach a Peak Design Capture Clip to your camera rig or thread a Peak Design Strap and connect the Lens Kit adapter to the Clip or Strap per the Capture system instructions. Mount the lens to the adapter by aligning the bayonet and engaging the quick-release; the adapter holds the unused lens securely while you shoot. To change lenses, unlock the adapter’s swivel if needed, remove the mounted lens, attach the camera lens to the camera body, then secure the spare lens back on the adapter. Ensure the Capture Clip or Strap is correctly installed and rated for the load before use.

Usage recommendations

Use with a Peak Design Capture Clip or Strap only. Pair with PROpad for heavier lenses, and verify that your Capture system is properly installed and tightened before carrying lenses. Avoid exposing the mounted lenses to excessive impact or moisture and check that bayonet mounts are clean and correctly aligned when swapping.
