Camera kit Peak Design POV-2

The Peak Design POV-2 is a compact, durable camera kit that converts backpack straps, belts and other strap-like objects into a stable point-of-view mount for GoPro and most action cameras. The kit is not a stand-alone product and requires a Capture clip (sold separately) to attach to gear. It includes a stabilizing pad, a Capture tool wrench for tightening, and corrosion-resistant hardware; as of September 2018 the POV-2 is compatible with Capture v3 and earlier Capture versions.

How to use

Attach a compatible Capture clip to your backpack strap, belt or similar strap-like object (Capture clip sold separately). Mount the POV-2 to the Capture and secure your camera using the standard action camera mount or the 1/4"-20 tripod thread for point-and-shoot cameras. Use the included stabilizing pad to reduce vibration and the Capture tool wrench to tighten screws for a secure fit. Adjust pan and tilt to achieve the desired framing; the mount allows mounting in any orientation, including upside down.

Usage recommendations

Use the POV-2 with the Capture v3 clip for best compatibility; if you own an older POV kit from before Sept. 2018, obtain the update kit to ensure compatibility with Capture v3. Regularly check and tighten screws before activities with heavy vibration or high impact.
