Pentacolor Terrace Oil with Tung is a tung oil–based treatment formulated for outdoor wooden decks, terraces and exterior wooden surfaces. It penetrates into hardwood and softwood to provide water resistance and reduce the effects of weathering while helping to preserve the natural texture and colour of the wood. The product is suitable for routine maintenance of garden furniture and other exposed timber where a maintenance oil is required to restore and protect the surface.

How to use

Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry and free of dust, grease and old loose finishes before application. Apply Pentacolor Terrace Oil with Tung evenly with a brush, lint-free cloth or low-pressure spray, working along the grain. Allow the oil to penetrate for the time recommended by the manufacturer, then remove any excess with a clean cloth to avoid sticky residues. For new or very absorbent timber, apply additional coats until the wood no longer soaks up the oil. Allow adequate drying time between coats and before exposing the surface to traffic or moisture.

Usage recommendations

Test the oil on a small inconspicuous area before full application to check colour and absorption. Reapply periodically depending on exposure: inspect annually and retreat when water no longer beads on the surface or when the wood appears dry or faded.
