Brass elbow fitting Perfexim 1/2" female-male (GW - GZ) 90°
Brass elbow fitting Perfexim 1/2" female-male (GW - GZ) 90°
Perfexim brass elbow fitting 1/2" female-male (GW - GZ) 90° is a plumbing adapter designed to change the direction of threaded pipe runs by 90 degrees. Made from corrosion-resistant brass, this fitting connects a 1/2" female thread to a 1/2" male thread and is suitable for use in potable water, heating and general service installations where threaded copper, brass or steel connections are used.
The brass construction provides good corrosion resistance and mechanical durability in typical domestic and light-commercial systems. The 90° elbow profile allows compact directional changes without additional adapters, and the female-to-male threaded arrangement simplifies connection to existing threaded fittings and valves. The fitting’s smooth machined threads ensure a tight connection when used with appropriate sealing materials.
Prepare mating threads by cleaning and applying an appropriate sealant such as PTFE tape or thread sealant paste according to local plumbing standards. Hand-start the male thread into the female thread to avoid cross-threading, then tighten to the required torque using suitable wrenches. Ensure the elbow orientation achieves the desired directional change and that connected components are adequately supported to avoid undue stress on the joint. Inspect for leaks after pressure testing the system.
Use suitable thread sealant for potable water applications and follow local plumbing codes. Avoid excessive tightening to prevent thread damage, and select compatible materials to minimize galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals.
