The Petzl SWIFT RL is a compact, rechargeable headlamp that delivers up to 1100 lumens in a lightweight 100 g package. Designed for multi-sport outdoor use, it combines a mixed beam for both proximity and distance vision with REACTIVE LIGHTING® technology: a sensor continuously analyzes ambient light and automatically adjusts brightness and beam pattern to optimize visibility and battery life. The headband includes reflective rear elements for nighttime visibility, and the split construction provides stable fit during dynamic activities. The lamp is USB-C rechargeable and features a five-level charge indicator.

How to use

Press the single button to turn the headlamp on or off and short-press to cycle brightness levels. Long-press to switch between REACTIVE LIGHTING® and STANDARD LIGHTING modes. Use the red continuous or strobe modes for preserving night vision or for signaling as needed. Lock the lamp using the LOCK function to prevent accidental activation during transport or storage. Charge the integrated battery via the USB‑C port and monitor the five-level battery gauge to know remaining runtime. The lamp can be tilted when worn on the head, helmet or around the neck to change beam direction.

Usage recommendations

For best results in mixed terrain or variable light conditions, use REACTIVE LIGHTING® mode to extend runtime and reduce manual adjustments; carry a spare rechargeable SWIFT RL battery for extended trips.
