The Petzl SWIFT RL is a compact, ultra‑powerful rechargeable headlamp delivering 1100 lumens in a lightweight 100 g design. It features REACTIVE LIGHTING® technology that uses a sensor to analyze ambient light and automatically adapt brightness and beam pattern, improving visual comfort and optimizing battery life. The reflective rear headband increases visibility at night, and the split headband construction provides stability during dynamic activities. The lamp includes a USB‑C rechargeable 2350 mAh lithium‑ion battery with a five‑level charge indicator.

How to use

Press the single button to switch the lamp ON or OFF and to cycle through lighting levels. Use a long press to toggle between REACTIVE LIGHTING® and STANDARD LIGHTING modes. Activate red continuous or strobe lighting when preserving night vision or signaling is required. Use the LOCK function to prevent accidental activation during transport or to lock a chosen lighting setting. Charge the lamp via the USB‑C port and monitor the five‑level battery indicator to plan recharging or swap in a spare battery for extended outings.

Usage recommendations

For extended trips, carry the spare SWIFT RL rechargeable battery and use REACTIVE LIGHTING® mode to maximize runtime. Detach and wash the headband periodically; use the SHELL LT pouch to convert the lamp into a small lantern when stationary.
