Camera filter PGYTECH P-26A-017 DJI
Mavic 3 UV Filter (Professional), Mavic 3 CPL Filter (Professional) and the Mavic 3 ND-PL Set (NDPL 8 16 32 64) (Professional) are camera filters designed for the DJI Mavic 3 series. The UV filter reduces ultraviolet light entering the camera to prevent bluish or whitish color casts and provides a hard-coated protective layer for the lens and sensors without affecting image sharpness. The CPL filter reduces glare from reflective surfaces and increases color saturation and clarity by rotating the filter to adjust the polarizing effect. The ND-PL hybrid set combines neutral density and polarizing functions to reduce exposure, allow lower shutter speeds for smoother cinematic footage, suppress unwanted reflections and enhance color saturation and image definition.
The UV filter protects the lens and sensors from UV light and light mechanical contact while maintaining high transmittance and sharpness. The CPL filter removes reflections from water, snow and glass, increases color saturation and improves image clarity with adjustable polarization. The ND-PL set reduces incoming light to prevent overexposure, enables slower shutter speeds for cinematic aerial video, and also controls reflections and enhances colors. All filters are compatible with the Mavic 3 series and are intended for professional aerial photography and videography.
Attach the selected filter to the Mavic 3 camera gimbal according to the manufacturer instructions for your drone model. Use the UV filter for general protection and to reduce UV-induced color casts in open, bright environments. Rotate the CPL filter to adjust the polarization effect until unwanted glare is reduced and desired color saturation is achieved. Choose the appropriate ND-PL density (8, 16, 32 or 64) to reduce exposure and enable slower shutter speeds for smoother, cinematic video; rotate the ND-PL filter as needed to control polarization. Verify framing, exposure and focus after mounting the filter and adjust camera settings (ISO, shutter speed, aperture/gimbal camera settings) as required before flight.
For aerial photography over reflective surfaces such as water, snow or glass, use the CPL or ND-PL filters to minimize glare and improve color saturation. Use the UV filter when you need lens protection and to avoid UV color casts in bright outdoor scenes. Select ND strength based on lighting conditions and desired motion blur: higher ND values (32, 64) for bright daylight, lower values (8, 16) for moderate light. Always check gimbal balance and perform a short test flight after fitting filters.
