Camera filter PGYTECH ND-PL Set
DJI Mavic 3 filters (Professional) provide lens protection and optical control for aerial photography and videography. The set includes a UV filter to reduce ultraviolet and bluish cast, a CPL filter to remove glare and improve color saturation, and a range of ND/ND-PL options for exposure control and smoother motion in bright conditions. Filters are made with professional optical glass, double-sided coatings for water, oil and scratch resistance, and lightweight CNC aluminium frames designed not to affect drone balance.
The UV filter protects the camera by blocking UV light and preventing bluish or whitish color casts in open scenes, while maintaining image sharpness. The CPL filter cuts reflections from water, snow and glass and enhances color saturation and clarity; it is adjustable by rotation. Hybrid ND-PL filters combine neutral density reduction with polarization to prevent reflections, increase color vividness and allow control of shutter speed for cinematic footage. Multi-layer coatings repel water and oil and improve scratch resistance. CNC aluminium frames are lightweight, corrosion-resistant and engineered to avoid impacting drone performance.
Attach the appropriate filter to the Mavic 3 camera according to the aircraft and gimbal mounting instructions. Use the UV filter for general protection and to reduce UV-induced color shifts in wide open scenes such as over water or fields. Rotate the CPL or ND-PL filter to adjust the polarizing effect and reduce reflections from surfaces. Select the VND range appropriate for lighting: 2–5 stops for general outdoor control, 6–9 stops for very bright conditions and longer exposures. For ND-PL variants, adjust both density and polarization by twisting the filter to achieve the desired exposure and color balance without swapping filters.
Clean filters with a soft, lint-free cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners; store them in a protective case when not in use. Choose the VND range based on prevailing light: 2–5 stops for fluctuating light and quicker adjustments, 6–9 stops for extremely bright conditions or when longer shutter speeds are required.
