Neutral Density Filter PGYTECH VND 2–5 Stop for DJI Mavic 3 Classic
Neutral Density Filter PGYTECH VND 2–5 Stop for DJI Mavic 3 Classic
Neutral Density Filter PGYTECH VND 2–5 Stop for DJI Mavic 3 Classic is a variable ND filter designed to reduce incoming light by 2 to 5 stops for the Mavic 3 Classic camera system. The filter allows precise control of exposure and shutter speed to create cinematic motion blur, avoid overexposure in bright conditions, and better manage depth of field for video and photo capture. Constructed with lightweight CNC aluminum and multi-coated optical glass, the accessory preserves color fidelity while resisting scratches, water and oil.
The variable ND 2–5 Stop design covers multiple densities in a single unit, eliminating the need to swap filters on location. Multi-layer coatings provide oleophobic and hydrophobic protection on both glass surfaces for easier cleaning and reduced reflections. The housing is machined from aluminum to minimize added weight and maintain the drone's flight balance. Optical elements use high-quality Japanese AGC glass that is ground and polished to keep a low refractive index and accurate color reproduction.
Attach the PGYTECH VND filter to the Mavic 3 Classic camera following the manufacturer’s mounting direction until it seats securely. Rotate the filter ring slowly to adjust the neutral density level between the equivalent of 2 and 5 stops until the desired exposure and motion blur are achieved. Verify framing and focus after adjustment and check for any vignetting at wide apertures. Remove the filter by reversing the mounting motion when no longer needed and store it in a protective case.
Use the filter when shooting in bright daylight to maintain shutter speeds suitable for cinematic video (for example, double the frame rate) and to reduce blown highlights in high-contrast scenes. Clean the coated glass with the supplied cloth or a microfiber wipe, avoiding abrasive materials. When changing ND level, rotate the filter gradually and confirm exposure on the camera; keep the accessory attached only as long as required to minimize handling and dust exposure.
