Phoenix Contact 3213950 Installation Three-Level Terminal Block Grey
The Phoenix Contact 3213950 installation three-level terminal block in grey is engineered for professional electrical installations, control panels, and efficient wiring management in commercial and industrial applications. This multi-level terminal block combines a space-saving design with secure mounting capabilities to support complex wiring setups. Featuring reliable Push-in connection technology, it facilitates fast and tool-free conductor insertion for solid wires and ferruled conductors, ensuring a dependable and vibration-resistant electrical contact.
The three-level design significantly optimizes DIN rail space, allowing high-density wiring within compact control cabinet layouts. Double function shafts on all levels provide enhanced flexibility for potential distribution and test accessories. The intuitive Push-in connection system reduces wiring time compared to traditional screw terminals while maintaining a consistently high contact quality. Built from durable insulating materials in a neutral grey color, the terminal block supports clear visual organization and identification within complex electrical distribution boards.
This terminal block may not be suitable for conductors exceeding the specified cross-section range of 0.14 mm² to 4 mm² or applications requiring high-current power distribution beyond its rated electrical parameters. It is also not intended for direct outdoor exposure without appropriate weatherproof enclosure protection.
Mount the terminal block securely onto a compatible NS 35/7,5 or NS 35/15 DIN rail inside the control cabinet or enclosure. Prepare the insulated copper conductors by stripping them to the recommended length. For solid conductors or flexible conductors equipped with ferrules, insert the wire directly into the clamping point until it is firmly seated. To release the conductor or connect fine-stranded wires without ferrules, actuate the push button using a suitable standard screwdriver. Utilize the double function shafts on the relevant levels for cross-connections, testing, or potential distribution using standard plug-in bridges.
Always disconnect power to the electrical system before installing, wiring, or servicing the terminal blocks. Ensure that installation is performed by qualified electrical personnel in accordance with applicable local and national electrical codes and standards.
