Lens Adapter Pixco Micro 4/3 (Olympus/Panasonic) to T2/T-mount
Lens Adapter Pixco Micro 4/3 (Olympus/Panasonic) to T2/T-mount
The Pixco Lens Adapter Micro 4/3 to T2 is a mechanical coupling designed to mount T2 (T‑mount) lenses and accessories on Micro Four Thirds camera bodies from Olympus and Panasonic. This adapter provides a solid, register-accurate connection without electronic contacts or autofocus, enabling manual control of adapted lenses. It is suitable for attaching telescopes, cine optics, macro tubes and vintage manual lenses to m4/3 mirrorless cameras for photography and video work.
The adapter offers a robust metal construction that maintains flange focal distance for accurate focusing. Its contactless design ensures broad compatibility with a wide range of T2 optics and accessories, while the simple bayonet/mount interface provides repeatable, secure attachment. The absence of electronic components eliminates communication issues and makes the adapter lightweight and durable for field use.
Align the m4/3 bayonet index mark on the adapter with the camera body mount and rotate until it locks into place. Attach the T2 lens or accessory by threading it onto the adapter’s T‑mount side until secure; verify there is no play and that the assembly is tight. Focus and aperture control (if available on the lens) must be done directly on the adapted lens or attached accessory. Because the adapter does not transmit electronic data, set exposure, focus aid, or magnification using camera controls and manual lens adjustments.
Use a tripod or support when attaching heavy telescopes or large cine lenses to prevent stress on the camera mount. When working with manual optics, enable focus magnification or peaking in the camera menu to assist precise focusing. Store the adapter in a protective case when not in use to keep threads and mounts free of dust and damage.
