The PLANET ENW-9701 is an internal fiber network card with a PCI Express host interface that provides up to 1000 Mbit/s full-duplex throughput. Designed for servers and high-performance workstations, the ENW-9701 supports SFP modules for flexible distance extension and offers low power consumption in a compact form factor suitable for demanding Gigabit Ethernet environments.

Advantages

The ENW-9701 delivers high throughput via a PCI Express bus architecture, supports IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging, IEEE 802.3x flow control and 9K jumbo frames for improved wire-speed packet transfer and reduced packet loss. With an SFP slot it allows users to select multi-mode or single-mode transceivers to extend link distances from about 550 meters up to tens of kilometers. The card is compatible with common server operating systems and requires only a standard PCIe driver for integration.
