How to use

Install the IAP-2400AX in the chosen location using the DIN‑rail clip or wall mounts, connect the external antennas to the RP‑SMA connectors and attach network cables to the LAN ports. Provide power via one or both DC inputs (9–54 V DC). Access the device using the web GUI, CLI or SNMP to configure network mode (AP or Gateway), SSID, security (WPA3 recommended where supported) and advanced Wi‑Fi 6 features such as OFDMA, MU‑MIMO and channel allocation. For multi‑site deployments, use PLANET NMS‑500 or NMS‑1000V to push profiles and manage multiple APs centrally.

Usage recommendations

Place the unit where external antennas have clear line of sight to client devices for best coverage; enable WPA3 and TLS for stronger security, and use the built‑in Wi‑Fi analyzer to select non‑overlapping channels. Configure dual power input for redundancy and connect the digital input/output to external alarm systems if on‑site monitoring is required.
