PLANET WDAP-C3000AX is a dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless access point delivering combined wireless throughput up to 3000 Mbps (2400 Mbps on 5 GHz and 600 Mbps on 2.4 GHz). Designed for environments that require high client density, it supports up to 256 client users and includes features such as Wi‑Fi MESH, MU‑MIMO, OFDMA, Seamless Roaming, Beamforming and BSS Coloring. The unit is PoE-capable and comes in a compact white enclosure suitable for public areas, offices and conference spaces.

How to use

Mount the WDAP-C3000AX in the desired location and provide power via PoE or local power supply depending on your installation. Use the web GUI or the PLANET CloudViewerPro app to run the configuration wizard and set SSIDs, security (WPA3‑Personal if required), radio bands and channel settings. For centralized deployments, use NMS‑500 or NMS‑1000V to push wireless profiles to multiple APs. Enable Mesh mode when extending coverage across multiple devices and adjust transmit power or scheduling options as needed through the management interface.

Usage recommendations

Place the access point centrally for best coverage, avoid physical obstructions near the unit, and use automatic channel selection or the built‑in Wi‑Fi analyzer to reduce channel overlap. For high‑density environments enable OFDMA and MU‑MIMO and configure WPA3‑Personal for user security where supported.
