The PNY Electronics EliteX-PRO60 128 GB SDXC UHS-II Class 10 Memory Card is designed to meet the demands of advanced photography and videography. Offering high performance for continuous data streams and high bitrates, this memory card ensures smooth recording and fast file transfers. With a substantial storage capacity, it provides ample space for large photo libraries, high-resolution videos, and extensive file archives.

Built with durability in mind, the card features a robust construction that protects against environmental elements such as water, shocks, temperature extremes, magnetic fields, and X-rays. An integrated write protection switch offers an additional layer of security to prevent accidental data deletion or overwriting during everyday use.

Advantages

This memory card delivers impressive read speeds of up to 280 MB/s and write speeds of up to 100 MB/s, facilitating rapid offloading of large media files and efficient workflow management. The inclusion of UHS-II, V60, and U3 ratings ensures stable and uninterrupted recording of 4K UHD video content without frame drops. Its ruggedized build guarantees reliable operation in challenging outdoor and professional shooting environments.

Suitable for

• 4K UHD video recording
• Professional and enthusiast photography
• Fast data transfers between camera and computer
• Use in challenging weather and environmental conditions

When it may not be suitable

This memory card may not be ideal for devices that only support standard SDHC interfaces or older UHS-I card readers without backward-compatible performance needs, as it cannot reach its maximum speed potential on older hardware. Additionally, users requiring massive capacities for extensive multi-day raw video shoots without offloading may need a higher capacity tier than 128 GB.

How to use

To use the memory card, insert it firmly into the SDXC-compatible slot of your digital camera, camcorder, or card reader until it clicks into place. Ensure the physical write protection switch on the side of the card is in the unlocked position if you intend to capture new photos or record videos. Format the memory card directly within your recording device before initial use to ensure optimal file system compatibility and performance. When transferring files to a computer, utilize a UHS-II compatible card reader to achieve the highest possible data transfer speeds.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your camera, camcorder, or card reader supports SDXC cards and UHS-II technology
• Assess your storage requirements to ensure 128 GB is sufficient for your typical media workflow
• Check if your current peripheral equipment can fully utilize the 280 MB/s read speed

Usage recommendations

Always format the memory card in your camera rather than a computer to maintain optimal performance and file compatibility. Keep the write protection switch engaged when storing important finalized data to prevent accidental deletion.
