Polmask Polymaker PA02037 PLA 3D printing filament, Polylactic acid (PLA), Black, 1.75 mm, 3 kg
Polmask Polymaker PA02037 PLA 3D printing filament is a 1.75 mm black Polylactic acid (PLA) spool supplied in a 3 kg pack. PolyLite™ PLA is formulated for consistent extrusion and ease of use on FDM/FFF 3D printers accepting 1.75 mm filament. The filament benefits from Polymaker's Jam‑Free™ Technology, which increases the filament's heat resistance during feeding to reduce hot-end jams caused by heat creep while maintaining the typical printed-part thermal properties of PLA.
PolyLite™ PLA offers reliable dimensional stability, reduced warping and straightforward layer adhesion, making it suitable for a wide range of standard 3D printing tasks. Jam‑Free™ Technology increases the filament's resistance to heat during feed (up to 140°C), helping prevent filament softening and jams in the cold end without changing the printed part's normal heat tolerance. The filament's composition based on high molecular weight PLA contributes to higher rigidity compared with many other PLA grades.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into any compatible FDM/FFF printer and set the nozzle temperature within the recommended 190–230°C range. Use a bed temperature between 25–60°C if needed to improve first-layer adhesion. For direct‑drive extruders start with a retraction distance around 1 mm and retraction speed near 20 mm/s; for Bowden/indirect drive systems begin with approximately 3 mm retraction at 40 mm/s and adjust as required. Keep part cooling fan on for typical PLA prints to improve overhangs and surface finish.
Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed with desiccant to avoid moisture uptake. If the filament absorbs moisture, dry it at 55°C for about 6 hours before printing. Adjust print settings (temperature, retraction, and speed) to suit your printer and model complexity and consult the filament's technical datasheet for detailed mechanical properties and further guidance.
