Filament Polmask PB01039 PETG 1.75 mm Magenta 1 kg
Polmask PB01039 PETG 1.75 mm Magenta 1 kg is a polyester-based 3D printing filament designed for balanced mechanical performance and reliable printability. This magenta PETG spool provides a compromise between the ease of printing associated with PLA and the strength and thermal resistance of ABS, making it suitable for functional prototypes, mechanical parts and visual models that require good layer adhesion and durability. The filament is supplied in 1.75 mm diameter on a 1 kg spool and is formulated to deliver consistent extrusion and predictable layer bonding when printed within recommended settings.
Polmask PETG delivers a middle ground in printing materials: improved toughness and chemical resistance compared with PLA, while being easier to print than ABS. The material offers strong layer adhesion, reduced warping, and a smooth surface finish when appropriate cooling is used. Its magenta coloration provides vibrant, consistent color for visible parts and models. The spool format and 1.75 mm diameter are compatible with most consumer and prosumer FDM printers.
Load the Polmask PB01039 PETG filament into a compatible FDM printer set for 1.75 mm filament. Preheat the hotend to the recommended range of 230–240 °C and set the heated bed to 70–80 °C. Use printing speeds in the 30–50 mm/s range and configure retraction according to your extrusion system: approximately 1 mm retraction at 20 mm/s for direct drive or around 3 mm at 40 mm/s for Bowden setups. Adjust first-layer settings to ensure good bed adhesion and allow parts to cool with minimal drafts to reduce layer separation. If the filament has absorbed moisture, dry it at 65 °C for about 6 hours before printing.
For best results, use 20% part cooling to balance surface quality and interlayer strength; reduce fan or disable it when maximum toughness is required. Calibrate retraction to minimise stringing, and use an adhesive bed surface or textured build plate to improve first-layer adhesion. Avoid prolonged exposure to high humidity; store the spool in a dry container with desiccant when not in use.
