Filament spool Poly PJ01012 3D printing material Beige 1.75 mm 750 g
Poly PJ01012 is a 1.75 mm beige filament supplied on a 750 g spool for FDM/FFF 3D printing. The filament provides a consistent diameter for general-purpose printing, suitable for prototyping, hobby models and functional parts where a beige finish is acceptable. The material is a PVB-based PolySmooth™ formulation that prints with settings similar to PLA but is designed for hands‑free post-processing using isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to achieve smoother, layer‑free surfaces.
Poly PJ01012 combines reliable dimensional consistency with a PVB‑based chemistry that accepts IPA smoothing, allowing you to improve surface finish without complex mechanical sanding. It prints at temperatures and speeds comparable to PLA, enabling broad compatibility with common FDM/FFF printers. The 750 g spool size provides a compact supply suitable for small to medium projects, and the beige colour (hex E9DF97) avoids the need for additional painting when a neutral tone is required.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into a compatible FDM/FFF printer and set the nozzle temperature between 190°C and 220°C. Use a heated bed if available with a bed temperature in the range 25°C to 70°C depending on adhesion needs. Printing speeds between 30 mm/s and 60 mm/s are recommended with the cooling fan on. For retraction, use approximately 1 mm distance at 20 mm/s for direct drive extruders, and around 3 mm distance at 40 mm/s for Bowden/indirect setups. If the filament has absorbed moisture, dry at 50°C for 12 hours before printing.
For smoothing PolySmooth™ prints, use IPA with either a Polysher™ for consistent, low‑effort results or a spray application using a polishing kit. If spraying, apply a thin coat of IPA, let it dry for 15–20 minutes, and repeat until the desired smoothness is achieved. Work in a well‑ventilated area to avoid inhaling IPA vapors. Store the filament in a dry box or sealed container to limit moisture absorption because PVB is more hygroscopic than PLA.
