Poly PLA Pro 1.75 mm is a grey PLA filament supplied on a 1 kg spool, designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers that accept 1.75 mm filament. It combines the dimensional stability and low-warp behaviour of PLA with a balanced melt flow suited to general-purpose prototyping and visual parts. The material is intended for users who need straightforward printing setup, reliable layer adhesion and predictable results for models, fixtures and household items.
Poly PLA Pro prints at standard PLA temperatures and requires no heated chamber for most prints, simplifying machine setup and reducing energy consumption. The filament offers consistent diameter and even extrusion for smooth surface finish and good layer bonding. Grey colour provides neutral, easily paintable or post-processed parts and reduces the visibility of minor surface imperfections. Compatibility with the majority of consumer 1.75 mm printers enables quick replacement and broad printer support.
Load the 1.75 mm Poly PLA Pro filament into your printer according to the manufacturer's instructions. Set nozzle temperature to a typical PLA range suitable for your machine and print speed; calibrate first-layer height and extrusion multiplier to ensure good first-layer adhesion. Use a heated bed if available or apply an adhesive surface such as glue stick or blue painter's tape for improved adhesion. Allow printed parts to cool gradually to reduce deformation and remove supports after cooling for cleaner edges.
Store the filament in a dry, cool place and keep it sealed when not in use to minimise moisture absorption. For best results, print temperature and speed should be tuned on small test prints before running larger parts. If post-processing is required, grey PLA is well suited for sanding, painting and light mechanical finishing.
