PLA Matte 1.75 mm 1 kg filament POLYMAKER Panchroma CA04020
Polymaker Panchroma PLA Matte 1.75 mm is a 1 kg spool of PLA filament formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printers. The matte surface reduces gloss and produces a subdued, uniform appearance that highlights form and texture without reflective artifacts. This filament is intended for general prototyping, display models and decorative prints where a low-sheen finish and consistent layer appearance are desirable. It is compatible with common PLA print settings and designed for stable feeding and steady extrusion.
This PLA matte filament provides a naturally low-gloss finish that minimizes visible layer reflections and improves the appearance of curved surfaces and fine details. The material is manufactured to maintain consistent 1.75 mm diameter tolerance, which supports reliable extrusion and predictable print outcomes. Coldprintability and compatibility with standard PLA temperature ranges make it suitable for a wide range of machines without special hardware. The spool format (1 kg) offers a balance between run length and storage convenience for workshops and hobbyists.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into an FDM/FFF 3D printer and use standard PLA print settings as a starting point. Typical nozzle temperatures range between 190–220°C depending on printer and model complexity; adjust within this range to optimize layer adhesion and surface quality. Print speeds of 30–60 mm/s are commonly effective for preserving detail and reducing stringing. Use a build surface that provides good first-layer adhesion, such as blue painter's tape, PEI, or a lightly heated glass bed; a thin brim or skirt may be applied to improve bed contact for small parts. Allow prints to cool gradually on the build plate for improved matte appearance and reduced warping.
Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed bag with desiccant to preserve printability. If filament absorbs moisture, dry according to manufacturer guidance before printing. For best surface results, fine-tune retraction and cooling settings, and consider lower printing temperatures within PLA range to emphasize the matte effect.
