POLYMAKER Panchroma PLA Matte 1.75 mm is a 1 kg spool of PLA filament formulated to provide a low-gloss, uniform surface finish for FDM/FFF 3D printing. The material keeps the common advantages of PLA — ease of printing, low warping and good dimensional stability — while producing a subdued matte appearance that reduces light reflection on printed parts. This filament is compatible with standard 1.75 mm extruders and works with a wide range of desktop 3D printers using typical PLA temperature settings.
Panchroma PLA Matte delivers consistent extrusion and layer adhesion for reliable prints. The matte finish minimizes surface sheen, improving the aesthetic of models intended for display, painting, or photography. The filament exhibits low warping and minimal shrinkage, making it suitable for larger flat parts and multi-piece assemblies without extensive bed adhesion measures. It prints well on standard PLA settings and is suitable for printers with direct drive or Bowden extruders.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into the printer according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions. Set the nozzle temperature within the common PLA range and adjust the bed temperature or adhesion method as required by your printer and model geometry. Print at moderate speeds to maintain surface quality; use layer heights suitable for the desired level of detail. Allow printed parts to cool before handling to ensure dimensional stability and proper layer bonding.
Store the filament in a dry, cool place and use sealed packaging or desiccant to reduce moisture absorption. For best surface appearance, avoid overly high nozzle temperatures and optimize retraction and cooling to minimize stringing while preserving the matte finish.
