Filament Powerton PLA Matt 1 kg (1000 g) — pale blue — Powerton 0029
Powerton PLA Matt filament, 1 kg spool in pale blue, is a biodegradable thermoplastic filament formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printing. This matt variant reduces surface sheen to deliver a soft, low-gloss finish that is useful for models, prototypes and decorative parts. The filament is supplied on a 1 kg (1000 g) spool and is intended for printers that accept the specified filament diameter; confirm compatibility with your printer before use.
The matt formulation provides reduced gloss and improved surface appearance for final parts without additional post-processing. Being PLA-based, the filament prints at relatively low temperatures and has low warping tendencies, which helps achieve consistent dimensional results on desktop FDM/FFF machines. The pale blue colour offers neutral, subtle colouring suitable for display pieces and conceptual prototypes.
Load the filament onto a compatible FDM/FFF printer following the printer manufacturer’s instructions, making sure the filament diameter matches the printer’s feeder and hotend. Set a printing temperature appropriate for PLA (consult your printer and slicer settings), typically in a moderate temperature range, and use a bed preparation method compatible with PLA such as blue tape, PEI sheet, or a light adhesive when necessary. Print at moderate speeds to optimise surface finish and dimensional accuracy; adjust retraction and cooling settings to reduce stringing and improve layer bonding for matt surfaces.
Store the filament in a dry, cool place and keep it sealed when not in use to prevent moisture absorption which can affect print quality. Verify filament diameter and printer compatibility before starting a job. For best matt surface results, use moderate cooling and lower layer heights; perform test prints to fine-tune slicer settings for your specific printer and part geometry.
