PREMIUMCORD kphdm2x30 is a 30 m optical HDMI High Speed cable designed to connect two audio/video devices over the HDMI interface. It carries digital video and audio, supports HDCP content protection and is intended for long-distance transmission of high-resolution signals such as 4K@60Hz (2160p@60Hz) with YUV 4:4:4 color sampling.

Advantages

The cable supports HDMI 2.0b features including Ultra High Definition 4K@60Hz, HDR, ARC, HEC, EDID and 3D video. It provides a maximum data throughput of 18 Gb/s (600 MHz), is backwards compatible with HDMI 2.0a/2.0/1.4 and supports HDCP 1.4 and 2.2. The construction uses OM3 multimode optical fibre with a 4.6 mm diameter, gold-plated connectors in metal shells, and complete power is supplied via the HDMI bus (consumption below 250 mW) so no external power supply is required. The cable also enables galvanic isolation between source and display.

How to use

The cable contains active electronics that operate in a single signal direction. Connect devices only when they are powered off and follow the directional markings on the cable. Plug the connector marked "Source" into the transmitting device (for example DVD/Blu-ray player) and the connector marked "Display" into the receiving device (for example TV, LCD or projector). After correct connection, power on the devices.
