Crimping tool PREMIUMCORD zn-6 for RJ45 8p8, RJ12 6p6, RJ11 6p4/4p4
Crimping tool PREMIUMCORD zn-6 is designed for terminating modular plugs RJ45 (8P8C), RJ12 (6P6C) and RJ11 (6P4/4P4). It provides precise compression of connectors on network and telephone cables to ensure reliable electrical contact and stable data or voice transmission. The tool is made of steel, features a round head for accurate crimping and includes a ratchet mechanism for consistent closure. Weight: 370 g.
The PREMIUMCORD zn-6 crimping tool supports multiple connector types (8P8C, 6P6C, 6P4C and 4P4C) and works with 4-, 6- and 8-conductor cables. It combines crimping, cutting and stripping functions in a single metal tool with a ratchet for repeatable results and precise connector seating. The compact steel construction and specially shaped head provide reliable, durable performance for professional and DIY installations.
Strip the cable jacket to expose the conductors, arrange the wires according to the connector pinout, insert the conductors fully into the modular plug and place the plug into the correct slot of the crimping tool. Squeeze the handles firmly until the ratchet releases to complete the crimp. For cable end preparation, use the integrated cutter and stripper sections as needed. Verify the crimped connector for secure seating and correct pin alignment before use.
Use the tool with appropriate modular plugs for the intended cable type and follow standard wiring schemes (e.g., T568A/T568B for Ethernet). Apply steady pressure and allow the ratchet to complete the cycle to ensure reliable crimps. Keep the tool clean and dry and inspect wear on the crimping jaws periodically; replace the tool if crimp quality degrades.
