Electricity Meter ProBase Single Phase AcRe-MOD-4 100A Modbus RTU RS485
Electricity Meter ProBase Single Phase AcRe-MOD-4 100A Modbus RTU RS485
The ProBase Single Phase Electricity Meter AcRe-MOD-4 is a compact DIN-rail device for measuring single-phase electrical parameters in installations with currents up to 100 A. It provides accurate measurement of active energy, instantaneous voltage, current and power values and supports Modbus RTU communication via RS485 for integration with building management systems, data loggers and third-party energy monitoring solutions. The meter is intended for residential, commercial and light industrial applications where reliable local measurement and remote readout are required.
The meter offers precise current measurement up to 100 A together with real-time monitoring of voltage and power values. Modbus RTU over RS485 enables simple and robust integration into existing automation and metering infrastructures. Its DIN-rail form factor and compact dimensions simplify installation in meter cabinets and distribution boards. The device is designed for continuous operation and provides stable readings suitable for consumption tracking and basic power diagnostics.
Mount the meter on a standard DIN rail inside the distribution board and connect the supply and load conductors according to the wiring diagram. Connect the RS485 A/B terminals to the Modbus network using a twisted pair cable and set the device address, baud rate and parity to match the master controller. After power-up the meter begins measuring and updating instantaneous values; energy totals and measured parameters are available via the Modbus register map for polling by SCADA, BMS or data loggers.
Ensure correct sizing of conductors and secure terminal connections; observe local electrical codes when installing. Use proper grounding and a network termination resistor for RS485 lines where required. Periodically verify readings against a reference meter if high accuracy is critical, and configure Modbus polling intervals to balance network traffic and data freshness.
