Power cable Procab CAB490/2, 2 m, power plug type E+F to IEC C13, black
Procab CAB490/2 is a 2 m mains power cable with a combined type E+F (Schuko/French) mains plug on one end and an IEC C13 appliance connector on the other. It is intended to supply power to audio, video and IT equipment such as amplifiers, mixers, power supplies and desktop devices where an IEC C13 inlet is used. The black PVC jacket provides standard mechanical protection and insulation for typical indoor use in countries with type E or F sockets.
The cable supports standardized mains connections between type E/F wall outlets and IEC C13-equipped equipment, enabling compatibility across a range of professional and consumer devices. With a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm² and a 2 m length, it balances current-carrying capacity and reach for common installation scenarios while remaining flexible enough for routing behind racks or under desks. The combined E+F plug design ensures correct earthing contact in both French and Schuko sockets.
Ensure the power is switched off at the mains before connecting the cable. Insert the IEC C13 connector into the equipment inlet until it seats firmly, then plug the type E+F mains plug into a compatible wall socket. Verify earthing connection and that the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends, pinch points and heat sources. Disconnect by first switching off the mains and then removing the mains plug.
Use this cable for indoor, mains-powered devices that accept an IEC C13 inlet and are used in regions with type E or F sockets. Do not use the cable in wet environments or where exposure to mechanical damage is likely. For higher current requirements or permanent installations, choose a cable with a larger conductor cross-section and appropriate certification.
