Procab PLS215/3 is a 300 m loudspeaker audio cable with two 1.5 mm² (16 AWG) copper conductors and a smooth black PVC jacket. Designed for fixed installations and stage or studio wiring, the cable is supplied without connectors and is suitable for long runs between amplifiers, speakers and audio racks. The conductor design uses 25 strands of 0.25 mm copper per core to combine low electrical resistance with flexibility required for installation and routing.

How to use

Cut to the required length and terminate with appropriate speaker connectors or soldered terminations depending on the installation. Strip the jacket and insulation carefully to expose the stranded copper, then tin or clamp the strands as required by the chosen connector to ensure secure electrical contact. Route the cable through conduits, trusses or along walls, using the smooth PVC jacket to ease pulling and avoid sharp bends that could stress the conductors. Avoid running the cable in parallel with strong mains power runs to reduce interference risks.

Usage recommendations

For permanent installations, use strain relief at connection points and secure the cable at regular intervals. For mobile or touring setups, roll and unroll the cable gently to preserve the jacket and strand integrity.
