Prodmax Aluflex 125 Flexible Aluminum Duct

The Prodmax Aluflex 125 is a high-quality flexible aluminum duct engineered for reliable air ventilation and extraction in various environments. With a diameter of 125 mm, this duct provides an efficient solution for connecting ventilation units, range hoods, and HVAC systems. Its lightweight yet durable construction ensures that it can withstand standard operational pressures while maintaining structural integrity over time.

The primary advantage of the Prodmax Aluflex 125 lies in its exceptional flexibility, which allows for seamless installation even in complex or confined spaces where rigid piping would be impractical. The aluminum material is naturally resistant to corrosion and heat, making it a safe and long-lasting choice for air transport. Its smooth interior design minimizes air resistance, promoting optimal airflow efficiency throughout the ventilation system.

Suitable for

• Residential kitchen range hood venting
• Bathroom and utility room exhaust systems
• General HVAC air distribution
• Connecting ventilation units in tight spaces

This duct may not be suitable for industrial applications involving highly corrosive chemical vapors or extremely high-temperature exhaust gases that exceed the thermal limits of aluminum. It is also not intended for structural load-bearing purposes or for use in systems requiring high-pressure airtight seals under extreme conditions.

Key specifications

• Diameter: 125 mm
• Material: Flexible aluminum
• Application: Air ventilation and extraction
• Design: Lightweight and bendable

To install the Prodmax Aluflex 125, measure the required distance between your ventilation points and cut the duct to the appropriate length if necessary. Secure the ends of the duct to the ventilation ports using appropriate clamps or duct tape to ensure an airtight connection. Gently bend the duct to follow the path of your installation, taking care not to crush or kink the material, as this can restrict airflow.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the required diameter of your ventilation system ports
• Ensure the length of the duct is sufficient for your installation path
• Check if the application environment is compatible with aluminum ducting
• Confirm that you have the necessary clamps or connectors for installation

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the duct runs as straight and short as possible to reduce air resistance and noise. Avoid sharp bends or excessive compression of the material, as these can impede airflow and increase the strain on your ventilation fan.
