Profix copper-based smar paste in a 70 ml tube is a copper-particle lubricant formulated to reduce seizing, galling and corrosion at metal-to-metal contacts. Supplied in a squeezable tube, this assembly and maintenance paste is suitable for threaded connections, bolts, exhaust fittings and other joints that require anti-seize and improved conductivity. The composition is designed to withstand elevated temperatures and to maintain a protective film that eases future disassembly.
Advantages
The copper particles provide reliable anti-seize performance and improve electrical conductivity across contact surfaces. The paste resists corrosion and wear, protecting fasteners and fittings exposed to heat and moisture. Packaged in a 70 ml tube, it offers controlled application and convenient storage for workshop, automotive or household use.
Suitable for
- Threaded connections and studs prone to seizing
- Bolts, nuts and flange fastenings, including exhaust systems
- Electrical grounding points and conductive joints
- Assembly and maintenance of automotive and industrial machinery
- Applications where corrosion protection and easier disassembly are required
Key specifications
- Form: copper-particle paste in a squeezable tube
- Container volume: 70 ml
- Primary function: anti-seize and corrosion protection
- Temperature resistance: suitable for elevated temperatures (suitable for exhaust and hot assemblies)
- Application type: manual squeeze tube for precise dispensing
How to use
Before applying, clean surfaces from dirt, oil and loose rust to ensure good adhesion and conductivity. Apply a thin, even layer of the paste to the male or contact surface, avoiding excessive build-up. Assemble parts as required and tighten to the specified torque. For exhaust and high-temperature assemblies, ensure the paste is applied to threaded areas and mating faces where seizing or galvanic corrosion is possible.
Usage recommendations
Store the tube in a cool, dry place and keep the cap closed when not in use. Use appropriate personal protective equipment when handling chemical pastes. For critical applications, verify compatibility with base metals and follow equipment manufacturer torque and maintenance guidelines.
