Proline 15162 is a self-leveling rotary laser measuring tool designed for alignment and leveling tasks in construction, interior finishing and DIY projects. How to use

Position the Proline 15162 on a flat surface or mount it on a tripod using the 5/8” thread. Switch on the instrument and allow the automatic self-levelling system to stabilise within its ±5° range; if the instrument is outside that range, use manual tilt adjustment or re‑position the unit. Select the required operating mode: rotary for long‑distance reference with a detector, line mode for improving beam visibility within a limited angle, or spot mode for a single precise reference point. Adjust rotation speed and opening angle as needed. When working at extended distances, use the supplied laser detector and bracket to locate the beam and clamp the detector to a grade rod, checking the bracket’s circular level before recording measurements. The remote control can be used to change modes and speeds from a distance of about 20 m.

For best visibility of the green beam, use the line or rotary modes with appropriate opening angles indoors and employ the detector for outdoor or long‑range work. Maintain the instrument by keeping lenses clean, charging the battery according to the manufacturer’s guidance and avoiding impacts that could impair calibration. Verify accuracy periodically against a known reference and transport the device in its case to protect it from shocks and moisture.
