Level Proline 15398 0.8 m — spirit level for alignment and measurement
Proline 15398 0.8 m spirit level is a compact measuring tool designed for accurate alignment and gradient checking in carpentry, installation and general construction. The level features an aluminum box body with a machined measuring plane and a groove in the pipe base for stable positioning on pipes and profiles. Five vials—horizontal, vertical, 45° and two gradient vials at 1.5° and 3.5°—allow quick verification of plumb, level and small slopes.
The rigid aluminum profile ensures durable straightness and resistance to bending during on-site use. A precisely machined measuring plane improves contact accuracy on flat surfaces while the base groove provides safe seating on round or angled elements. Multiple vials expand the tool’s versatility: standard horizontal and vertical checks plus a 45° vial and two gradient indicators for slope work. The compact 0.8 m length balances portability and measuring reach.
Place the level on the surface or edge to be checked, ensuring the machined measuring plane or grooved base makes full contact. For horizontal checks, read the central horizontal vial and adjust the workpiece until the bubble centers between the marks. Use the vertical vial when checking plumb and the 45° vial for mitre or angle verification. For slope or gradient tasks, align the bubble in the 1.5° or 3.5° vial according to the required incline. Handle the tool by its profile to avoid touching vials when taking a reading.
Store the spirit level in a dry place to prevent corrosion of metal parts and avoid dropping or heavy impacts that could misalign vials. Periodically verify vial accuracy against a known straight reference and recalibrate or replace the level if bubbles do not center correctly. Use the grooved base for pipe work and the machined plane on flat surfaces to maximize measurement reliability.
