Hole saw Proline 27135, diameter 3.5 cm, 1 piece
Proline 27135 hole saw with a 3.5 cm diameter is a single-piece cutting accessory intended for creating precise circular openings. Made from high-speed steel (HSS) and designed for use with a drill-mounted adapter, it is suitable for machining a variety of materials including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, non‑ferrous metals, plastics and wood. The cutter accepts a hexagonal or SDS-plus adapter and requires a centering drill for accurate starts; maximum recommended cutting depth is 38 mm.
The HSS construction provides wear resistance and heat tolerance suitable for metalworking and longer tool life under proper conditions. Compatibility with hexagonal and SDS-plus adapters allows flexible mounting options on standard drills and rotary tools. The alternating tooth pitch (4/6 TPI) improves chip evacuation and reduces binding when cutting through mixed materials. Compact 3.5 cm diameter is convenient for small-diameter openings where precision and a clean edge are required.
Fit the Proline 27135 hole saw to a suitable adapter (hexagonal or SDS-plus) and secure it into the drill chuck or SDS holder according to the drill manufacturer’s instructions. Install a centering drill to guide the hole saw and position the workpiece on a stable surface with proper clamping. For metalworking, apply cutting fluid or coolant and run the drill at a moderate speed to avoid overheating; for plastics and wood, choose a speed appropriate to the material to reduce melting or splintering. Advance steadily, clearing chips as needed, and do not exceed the 38 mm cutting depth.
Use a centering pilot bit for precise alignment and secure the workpiece to prevent movement. When drilling steel or stainless steel, keep the cutting area lubricated and allow intermittent pauses to prevent excessive heat. Inspect teeth before use and replace the hole saw if wear or damage is apparent to maintain cutting quality and safety.
