Hole saw Proline 27192 — diameter 92 mm, 1 piece
Proline 27192 hole saw with a 92 mm diameter is a single-piece cutting tool intended for making clean circular openings in a variety of materials. Made from high-speed steel (HSS) and designed to be mounted with a compatible adapter and centering drill, this hole saw is suitable for use with drills that accept hexagonal or SDS-plus sockets. It is intended for drilling into metals such as aluminum, steel and stainless steel, as well as non-ferrous metals, plastics and wood; when used for steel machining, wet cutting is recommended to reduce heat and extend tool life.
The HSS construction provides high cutting speed and good wear resistance for metal and multipurpose applications. Compatibility with hexagonal or SDS-plus adapters makes the tool flexible for use with common drill drives. The alternating tooth pattern (4/6 TPI) improves chip removal and helps maintain a cleaner cutting edge, while the 38 mm drilling depth allows through-cuts or recessed openings for many installation tasks.
Fit a suitable adapter and centering drill into the hole saw according to the drill and adapter manufacturer instructions. Secure the assembly in a compatible drill with a hexagonal or SDS-plus chuck. Mark the center point of the required hole and start drilling at low speed to establish the pilot groove. Increase speed as appropriate for the material while applying steady, even pressure. For steel and other hard metals, use coolant or cutting fluid and intermittent drilling to manage heat and prolong tool life. Remove metal chips regularly to prevent clogging and maintain cutting efficiency.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, clamp workpieces securely, and select the correct drill speed and coolant for the material. Ensure the adapter and centering drill are compatible and firmly fitted before use. For prolonged life when cutting steel, perform drilling with coolant and avoid excessive feed pressure.
