Drill hole saw Proline 27206, diameter 6 mm, 1 piece
Proline 27206 drill hole saw with a 6 mm cutting diameter is a compact accessory designed for precise small-diameter holes. The tool features vacuum-soldered diamond cutting edges and an M14-threaded shank for direct mounting on angle grinders. It is intended for drilling in hard surfaces such as ceramic tiles, stone tiles and stoneware. The tool is supplied as a single piece and is intended to be used dry for optimal performance.
The vacuum-soldered diamond rim provides durable cutting performance and consistent hole quality when working with hard brittle materials. The M14-threaded shank enables secure, direct attachment to compatible angle grinders without additional adapters, reducing play and improving control. Compact 6 mm diameter allows accurate, small-diameter hole making for plumbing, electrical and finishing tasks where precision is required.
Mark the desired hole position on the work surface. Secure the angle grinder fitted with the M14-threaded hole saw and ensure the tool is mounted tightly. Start drilling at low speed to create an initial guide and then apply steady, moderate pressure while maintaining the tool perpendicular to the surface. Avoid excessive force; let the diamond rim cut gradually. Since the hole saw is designed for dry drilling, do not use water cooling. Periodically withdraw the tool to clear debris and check progress. After completing the hole, inspect edges and remove any loose particles.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, gloves and a dust mask. Secure the workpiece to prevent movement and ensure the angle grinder has the correct guard in place. For best results on thicker or harder tiles, proceed slowly and allow the tool to cool between passes. If an adapter and centering drill are needed for combi drills, ensure compatibility and follow the adapter manufacturer's instructions.
